be governed“ –  a queer-anarchist analysis of patriarchy and state
feminism

Feminist*innen sprechen immer wieder von Konsens oder
Zugstimmungsprinzip, wenn es um den Staat geht hört dies im
deutschsprachigen jedoch Raum meist auf. Die Herrschaft und der Zwang
des Staates wird als politisches Mittel genutzt, wer sich dem Staat
nicht unterordnen möchte, erfährt nicht nur keine Unterstützung, sondern
wird in vielen feministischen Kreisen oft aktiv mundtot gemacht. Dabei
sind Staat und Patriarchat untrennbar miteinander verbunden. Der Vortrag
analysiert aus anarchistischer (herrschaftsablehnender) Perspektive das
Patriarchat und seinen Zusammenhang mit Staat, sowie anderen
Herrschaftsformen wie Kapitalismus, Kolonialismus und Kapazitismus¹.
Das Patriarchat wird dabei als vielschichtiges Herrschaftssystem
bestehend aus Machtverhältnissen, Rollen, Unterdrückungsinstitutionen,
Werten und Verhaltensweisen verstanden und nicht einfach „nur“ als
Herrschaft von (cis² endo³) Männern über (cis endo) Frauen.
Neben Sexismus geht es u.a. um die Beherrschung und Unterdrückung von
Kindern, sowie Queerfeindlichkeit und den Zwang zur
Monogamie/„romantischen Zweierbeziehung“. Es wird auch aufgezeigt warum
es keine Überraschung ist, dass Staatsfeminist*innen immer wieder
trans-, nicht-binären-, inter- und agenderfeindlich, sowie
sexarbeiter*innenfeindlich werden. Um aus dem Zuhören in den gemeinsamem
Austausch miteinander zu kommen wird es nach dem erstem Vortragsteil das
Angebot eines Kleingruppenaustausches zu verschiedenen praktischen
Veränderungsfragen geben. Der Vortrag wird gehalten von der Initiative

Feminists are time and again talking about consensus or the principle of
consent, but when it comes to the state, this usually stops in
German-speaking regions. The domination and coercion of the state is
used as a political tool; those who do not want to submit to the state
not only receive no support, but are often actively silenced in many
feminist circles. Yet the state and patriarchy are inextricably linked.
The talk analyzes patriarchy and its connection with the state and other
forms of domination such as capitalism, colonialism and capacitism1 from
an anarchist (anti-domination) perspective.
Patriarchy is understood as a multi-layered system of domination
consisting of power relations, roles, institutions of oppression, values
and behaviors and not simply „only“ as the domination of (cis² endo³)
men over (cis endo) women. In addition to sexism, it is also about the
domination and oppression of children, as well as anti-queer hostility
and the compulsion to monogamy/“the two-people-romantic-relationship“.
It will also be shown why it is no surprise that state feminists
repeatedly become hostile towards trans, non-binary, intersex, agender
folks and sex workers. After the first part of the talk, there will be
an opportunity for small group discussions on various practical issues
of change in order to move from listening to exchanging ideas. The talk

¹Capacitism is a social system in which the body, consciousness and
(other) abilities are judged according to normality norms, e.g.
intelligence, physical performance, and people who deviate from these
are marginalized, oppressed and punished.

² Cis is the opposite of trans*. Cis are people who identify with the
gender assigned to them at birth.

³Endo is the counterpart with inter*. Endo are people whose bodies at
birth, according to social, medical norms, had „unambiguous“ supposedly
„biological male or female characteristics“ at birth.
